In a unexpected partnership that defies usual predictions, Ubisoft has unveiled an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, offering complimentary bonus story content for Shadows players.

Strange Adventure Disclosed

According to the formal statement, "A strange confrontation leads protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where rumors of banned ceremonies and terrifying changes echo through the shadows." The narrative features a "unusually garbed woman named Ada" who charges the duo with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her friend from a secret cult.

The adventure concentrates on "bizarre experiments and a terrifying foe" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Familiar Settings and Metamorphoses

The teaser showcases the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The teaser finishes with a powerful sequence showing a character, presumably the hostage, transforming into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Rewards and Extra Features

Players who accomplish the mission will receive an unique katana in addition to several items secreted throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also features purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
